Harris SX/Gates series PA toroid board

We make a replacement toroid board for the power amp boards used in both SX and Gates series transmitters. Our boards use toroids comparable to the originals, which were hard to source. As you can see, they are basically copies of the originals, and will work in any transmitter of these types at any frequency. The 1 kW transmitter models used toroid boards with leads, where the 2.5 and 5 kW versions had aluminum tabs on each end to facilitate interconnections. We can supply both types.

Note: As you can see in the photo, we reuse harvested toroids in some cases, as new ones are both expensive and hard to find. The toroids we use have never been taken above their Curie temperature, and are fully tested before they are installed. They have an indefinite life (essentially forever) unless they are cracked, which usually only is caused by extreme heat.
